Function

Clinging agent to prepare the surfaces before applying mortars of any kind, it is used:
• on surfaces of concrete, cement and modular concrete
• on plasters and walls of bricks and brickwalls
• on wooden surfaces
• on gypsum plasters and plasterboard panels
• for preparation of the support before the application of the adhesive for laying floor and wall tiles or coverings of ceramic tiles, marble, granite, wood, etc. to be overlaid to pre-existing floor or wall coverings
• on painted supports
• on thermal insulating plaster systems
• to make even the not homogeneous supports having high absorption differences
When applied to foundations of showers and bathroms before laying the floor, GENERFIX perfoms a very good anti seepage action

Materials

Suitable for application on concrete, cement, lime, plaster and palasterboard, insulating panels, natural stones in general, bricks, brickwalls, ceramics, painting, wood, metals

How to use

The product is ready-to-use and must be carefully mixed every time before using.
Be sure the surfaces are dry, clean, free from friable parts or parts impregnated by oil or greasy susbstances or any kind of anti-adherent substances.
Apply the product as it is by brush or flat brush or roller or by suitable airless spray pump for plastering; the application/working temperature must be not lower than +5°C (41°F) nor higher than +35°C (95°F).
It is possible a single application but taking care the surface is evenly and completely covered.
The consumptions vary according to the absorption of the support and are considered to be in an average of 300/400 g/m² each layer/application.
